Crowns are designed to look and feel like teeth. The entire tooth surface must be reduced and reshaped so it can be replaced by an artificial material, usually porcelain. They are also used when there is excessive wear or crooked teeth to provide instant orthodontics.
Dentures are fabricated to maintain lip and cheek support and give an attractive smile. We have a series of appointments set up to ensure the patient has input in the final try-in before we process and finish the dentures.
Implants
Implants are a titanium or ceramic device that replaces the root of the natural tooth. After the implant is placed into the underlying bone, an artificial tooth or crown is attached to restore normal function.
Bridges are used to replace missing teeth. If not replaced, missing teeth may shift your chewing forces and cause an altered bite, which can cause the collapse of facial features. The more teeth lost and not replaced, the greater the odds of premature aging and wrinkling.
